Derek Tuttle serves as the head coach of the Andover Central High School Jaguars in Andover, Kansas. He just finished his sixth season as head coach after completing 21 seasons in the Andover school district as an assistant coach. Coach Tuttle led the Jaguars to their first State Championship in school history in 2024 and was named 4A Coach of the Year by the AVCTL Division 2 League, Kansas Football Coaches Association, Sports in Kansas, KSHSAA Covered, Wichita Eagle, Kansas Coaches Association, and the National Football Foundation/Bill Snyder Sunflower Chapter.
In his tenure as head coach, the Jaguars have captured the league title four times and finished as state runner-up three times. The program continually signs players to compete at various levels of college football, including Junior College, NAIA, D2, and D1.
He currently teaches English and Weights. Coach Tuttle and his wife, Jodi, reside in Andover and have three children, Brennan, Katelyn, and Kinsey.
