Barkley Christensen

Coach Barkley Christensen just wrapped up his eighth season as the head football coach for the San Juan Broncos. Coach Christensen has amassed a 74-21 overall record in those eight seasons with four consecutive state championships (2021, 2022, 2023, & 2024) and 6 regional championships (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024). He has turned San Juan into an offensive powerhouse over his tenure. His teams have led the whole state of Utah in points scored per game the last three years with his teams averaging 46.5ppg in 2022, 56.5ppg in 2023, and 54ppg in 2024. During this 4-peat of state champiosnhips the last four years, his teams have gone 48-3 and were on a 37 game winning streak which is the 2nd longest winning streak for a coach in Utah State History. Christensen’s success has not gone unnoticed. In 2023, he was named Utah’s Coach of the Year, cementing his reputation as one of the top coaching minds in the state. Coach Christensen serves as the schools head football coach and Vice Principal. He and his wife L’sha are raising their three beautiful children - daughters Kyri (5) and Rikki (3), and their 1 year old son, Ace. Coach Christensen has enjoyed immense success at San Juan High and at the age of 30, the Broncos show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
